The short version
The only personal data we collect is what an employer or recruiter types into the interest form. We collect nothing from job seekers: there is no account, no CV upload and no application form. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking. We never sell personal data.

What we collect and why
If you submit the form on For employers & recruiters, we collect what you type in. Nothing else is collected through the site.

We do not collect CVs, application data or any personal data from workers. Every page works without you giving us anything.
Marketing emails
We do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in the form. If we ever want to send marketing, we will ask separately and clearly, and every email will carry an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
This site is hosted on Netlify, and the interest form is handled by Netlify Forms, so Netlify processes your submission on our behalf. Replies to you are sent from our email, which is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing. We do not pass your details to anyone else, and we never sell personal data.
International transfers
Netlify is a US company, so your form submission may be processed in the United States. We rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics. See the cookie policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data (access), correct it, delete it (erasure), restrict how we use it, or send it to you or another controller in a usable format (portability). You can object to our use of it, including to direct marketing at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have rights around automated decisions; we make none.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, email hello@universalworkers.co.uk with “Data protection complaint” in the subject. We will acknowledge within 30 days and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this notice the date at the top changes. If we add anything that uses cookies or tracking, we will add a consent banner before it goes live.
